Rejoin Goku and his friends in a series of cosmic battles! Toei has redubbed, recut, and cleaned up the animation of the original 1989 animated series. The show's story arc has been refined to better follow the comic book series on which it is based. The show also features a new opening and ending. In the series, martial artist Goku, and his various friends, battle increasingly powerful enemies to defend the world against evil. Can Earth's defender defeat demons, aliens, and other villains?

Season 1
After years of peace since the defeat of Piccolo Daimaoh, Goku now lives peacefully with his wife Chi-Chi and their son Gohan. But everything changes when a mysterious warrior called Raditz arrives on Earth, revealing that he is Goku's brother and that they both belong to the warrior race of the Saiyans, a brutal people who conquer planets.

In the seven years since Cell's defeat, life on Earth has returned to normal. Gohan has grown up and is now in high school. But behind the celebration, the wizard Babidi appears in search of resurrecting the ancient demon Majin Boo, in order to complete his father's plans for universal domination.
