On a dark Mongkok night, May, the cousin of Dai Tin-yee, was gang-raped to death by Med King and his men. The furious Tin-yee, together with his buddies, Ho-Nam, Chicken, Pou-Pan tracked down Med King to revenge May’s death. As Med King was under the wing of Ugly Kwan, a leader of the Hung Hing triad, Kwan gave orders to get rid of Ho-Nam by all means….

The boss of the Hung Hing gang, Tian Sang, has died. Ho Nam and Hon Bun find Sangs younger brother, Yang to lead the gang. Meanwhile, Hon Bun receives news that his younger brother, a leader of the Tuen Mun gang has been assasinated. They travel to Hong Kong to settle the matter.

Although Chicken does not make an appearance, Chan Ho Nam finds a new love interest in the form of Mei Ling. Meanwhile, Tung Sing returns to cause trouble again for Hung Hing, in the form of new leader Szeto Ho Nam.
Portland Street Blues
This spin-off movie provides a different contrast to the familiar Young and Dangerous films with greater character development. This time, the story's focus is on a female character - Sister 13 of the Hung Hing triad. In a triad underworld dominated by men, the film tells the story of how she faces trials and tribulations of rising to become the branch leader of Portland Street. The story shows the reasons she became a lesbian. The film also gives more details about the Tung Sing triad, and how the relationship between Sister 13 and Ben Hon develops.
Young and Dangerous: The Prequel
Showcasing the earlier years of Chan Ho Nam and Chicken, this prequel tells of their time during their willingness to follow Hung Hing's Uncle Bee.

Those Were the Days... is a 2000 Hong Kong film directed by Raymond Yip. The film is a spin-off/prequel of the Young and Dangerous film series, as it follows the life of Chicken Chiu (Jordan Chan) before he joined the triads with the boss Chan Ho Nam (Ekin Cheng).
